DRS Technologies, Inc. has announced today that it received a $23 million order from Northrop Grumman Corporation's Space and Mission Systems business in Clearfield, Utah, to provide replacement environment control systems (ECS) for electronic equipment and personnel of the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) launch and missile alert facilities. |

The contract has a total potential value of $191 million over five years if all options are exercised. |

Northrop Grumman Corporation's Airborne Laser Mine Detection System (ALMDS) has received approval for low-rate initial production (LRIP) Lot 2 from the U.S. Navy. The company will produce three ALMDS units for approximately $25 million under the contract. It is anticipated that the company will produce 25 units over the next five years when the program enters full rate production in 2010. There is also potential for international sales. |
