Arcam wins order for an EBM S12 for NASA

Arcam has received an order for an EBM S12 system from the NASA George C. Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The system will be used for Direct Manufacturing of high performance parts in titanium and other high end alloys.

- This order again confirms the interest in our CAD-to-Metal system for the aerospace sector. We are happy working with NASA's state-of-the-art aerospace operation and look forward to new challenges that will take our technology to new heights, says Magnus René, President of Arcam.

- With this new metal system we will be able to supply functional components for our projects at a new level of geometric freedom, as well as conduct important remote manufacturing research and development, says Kenneth G. Cooper, Manager of the Rapid Prototyping Laboratory at NASA Huntsville.
