A new harmonised system of military inquiries has been introduced today by the Ministry of Defence, replacing the existing system of single service Boards of Inquiry (BOI). A new tri-Service system of Service Inquiries will take their place. This will mean each of the three Services convenes Inquiries on the same statutory basis, which has not been the case for BOIs. |

Juniper Networks has participated in Cyber Storm II, the nation's largest and most comprehensive cyber security exercise. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) National Cyber Security Division (NCSD), the goal of Cyber Storm II was to examine the processes, procedures, tools, and organizational responses required to successfully defend against a multi-sector coordinated attack on the global cyber infrastructure, or to respond to a natural disaster and its interdependent impacts. |

Under the SBIR program, the Navy has funded Mikros and subcontractor Mobilisa, Inc. (Port Townsend, WA) to develop a Shipboard Wireless Network Design Tool, designated AIRchitect-EMC. This tool is a result of a joint software development between Mobilisa and Mikros over the past several years. |
