Science Applications International Corporation has announced it was awarded a prime contract in December by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
This multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will support the Solutions for Intelligence Analysis (SIA) program. The maximum dollar value for all task orders that can be awarded to prime contractors, including SAIC, under this five-year contract is $1 billion. Work may be performed at DIA locations nationally and overseas, and will be issued by DIA out of the Washington Metro area.Under the contract, SAIC will support the DIA mission with services in areas including foreign cultures, regional dynamics, illicit drugs, infectious disease and health, and emerging and disruptive technologies to provide effective analysis for the Defense Intelligence Enterprise. 'SAIC has developed solutions for the Defense Intelligence Enterprise's most urgent problems,' said John Thomas, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. 'The SIA contract provides SAIC with further opportunities to deliver the results they demand for the defense of our nation.' |
