Farnborough International Limited (FIL) officially launched FIVE, the Farnborough International Venue and Events, and looked forward to the 2008 Airshow with a reception and party in the FIVE building attended by over 500 key aerospace and industry personnel.
FIVE, which has been developed to meet the needs of the international business market, will enhance FILs existing world-class reputation for events, and will provide a platform from which to consolidate and grow events, exhibitions and corporate activities at the site, all the year round.Officially opening the venue, SBAC President Allan Cook, commented: 'In response to trends and expectations within the general events market, Farnborough has been keen to develop its offering for exhibitors and event organisers. Now to offer a permanent event venue on our world famous site we have developed FIVE. It gives me great pleasure to be ale to declare FIVE open.' FIL Chairman, Simon Frost added: 'FIVE is the UKs latest and most extraordinary events venue. This building is a flagship project for Farnborough International and is integral to our strategy to enhance and build on our global reputation for world-class events, and offer even better opportunities for the aerospace sector.' |
