Boeing Awarded 2nd Contract for F-15 Radar Upgrade Work

Boeing has been awarded a $130 million U.S. Air Force contract to upgrade 16 Air Force and Air National Guard F-15C Eagles with the APG-63(v)3 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar.

Curtiss-Wright Corporation - Radar Processing Subsystems for the U.S. Marine Corps' G/ATOR Program

Curtiss-Wright Corporation has announced that it has received a contract from Northrop Grumman to provide radar processing subsystems for use in the U.S. Marine Corps' Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) Program. The initial contract, valued at $4.3 million, is for development which is expected to be completed in 2010. The production phase of the program will be executed as an option under the current contract, and is planned to start in 2010.

The National Security Agency (NSA) has certified the wireless Sectera(R) Edge(TM) smartphone, a product of General Dynamics C4 Systems, for voice communications classified up to the Top Secret level and access to email and web-sites classified at the Secret level and below. Harris Corporation - $45.2 Million Order from U.S. Air Force for Falcon(R) Radios

Harris Corporation, an international communications and information technology company, has received a $45.2 million order to supply the U.S. Air Force with a complete suite of Falcon(R) tactical radios for its fleet of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. With the order, Harris has now been selected by all branches of the U.S. military to provide high-performance radio systems for MRAP vehicles.

Northrop Grumman - Payload Module Delivered Ahead of Schedule for Second Advanced EHF Military Communications Satellite

Northrop Grumman Corporation today delivered the payload module for the second Advanced Extremely High Frequency (EHF) military communications satellite ahead of schedule to the Sunnyvale, Calif., facilities of Lockheed Martin, prime contractor for the Advanced EHF program. Delivery of this second payload module follows one year after the first payload module delivery, which was also delivered ahead of schedule.

General Dynamics - Rescue 21 Programme

U.S. Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Thad Allen, in a recent visit to General Dynamics C4 Systems, said the Rescue 21 program is operationally ready. Rescue 21 is now the Coast Guard's primary command, control and communication system and is effectively locating vessels in distress and helping the Coast Guard rescue mariners in the regions in which it is deployed. During his visit to General Dynamics, Admiral Allen met with employees who work on the system, participated in a program review and toured the Rescue 21 production facility.

Harris Corporation - $25 Million Contract to Provide Tactical Radios to Brunei Ministry of Defence

Harris Corporation, an international communications and information technology company, has been awarded a $25 million contract from the Brunei Ministry of Defence to supply tactical radios, accessories and other equipment to the Combat Net Radio replacement program of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
