1st Notification OF UAS CHINA 2008
The Chinese UAS industry is making significant progress and there are a significant number of R&D projects underway. There is also a significant number of Chinese UAS systems that are being test-flown, or that are already in operation with the Chinese military. The Chinese UAS fleet (civil & military), as well as the Chinese industrial base, is expected to continue to grow significantly. However, as in the majority of the world’s countries, the rules and regulations pertaining to the insertion of UAS into non-segregated Chinese airspace have not yet been defined. UVS International is proud to announce that it has been invited to partner with International Aviation Group, China to organize the 1st national Chinese conference totally dedicated to unmanned aircraft systems. With the intent of contributing to maintaining safety in Chinese airspace, and within the framework of its Global Access Initiative and international harmonisation, UVS International has accepted this invitation and will endeavour to make it possible for the Chinese regulatory authorities and UAS community to be made aware of the ongoing international regulatory work pertaining to UAS. Event designation: UAS China 2008 Event venue: Grand Skylight Catic Hotel (www.gslcatic.com) Location: Beijing, China Dates: 25 & 26 September 2008. |
