Elbit Systems Ltd.has been awarded a contract by an Asian country for the supply of a 'Live Training System' valued at $10 million. The system will be delivered to the customer during 2010.

The U.S. Army has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation an Operations, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services (OPTARSS) task order to provide simulated Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) training at Army Combat Training Centers in Fort Irwin, Calif., Fort Leavenworth, Kan., Fort Polk, La., and Hohenfels, Germany.

Contract Provides Geospatial Training Across NGA and the Intelligence Community

Boeing and Australian College of Kuwait Complete Vocational Training Project

Boeing and the Australian College of Kuwait have completed a joint vocational training project, satisfying an offset requirement of Kuwait's purchase of 16 AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopters in 2002. The National Offset Company (NOC) and the Kuwait Ministry of Finance announced the milestone Tuesday in Kuwait.

New Simulator Training Center in Berlin

FSC has announced it will set up a simulator training centre at Berlin-Schönefeld. The simulator training centre will be brand new and will be based on the concept of FSC’s training centre at Amsterdam-Schiphol. FSC has acquired land for the training centre close to Berlin’s future main airport Berlin Brandenburg International (BBI).
