Boeing to Provide Airplane Health Management System to Qantas

Boeing Company has announced that Qantas Airways' fleet of 747-400 airplanes will be monitored by Boeing's Airplane Health Management (AHM), a software system that helps airlines improve the management of unscheduled maintenance events. In addition, Qantas will use Airplane Health Management for future 787 Dreamliner deliveries. Qantas has 65 Boeing 787s on order.

Marshall Aerospace - Agreement with CAV Aerospace

Marshall Aerospace has signed a further agreement with CAV Aerospace which will see the company’s Manufacturing division continue to prepare aircraft stringers for a further 5 years at its Cambridge facility. The stringers which are produced for CAV are ultimately for Airbus and are in support of a range of aircraft types; A318, A319, A320, A321, A330, A340-500, A340-600 and A380.

Texas Aviation Services - certification for Brazilian rotorcraft customers.

Texas Aviation Services, has achieved repair station certification number CHE No. 0712-01/ANAC with Brazil's ANAC (Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil). TAS is now one of only a very few independently owned helicopter customizing and completion centers in the U.S. with certification for Brazilian rotorcraft customers.

Hamilton Sundstrand selected by Singapore Airlines for APU maintenance

Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems announced today that it has signed a maintenance support agreement with Singapore Airlines, which includes an asset management plan for the airlines' Airbus A380 aircraft. Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems is the Auxiliary Power Systems division of Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp.
