Kanematsu Corporation Orders 16 AgustaWestland Helicopters

AgustaWestland has announced that Kanematsu Corporation, AgustaWestland’s representative in Japan, has signed a contract for 16 helicopters comprising 14 AW109 Power light twin helicopters and two AgustaWestland Grand twin engine helicopters for delivery through 2011. The contract was signed at a ceremony held today at the Japan Aerospace 2008 Exhibition in Yokohama.

Boeing and Saga Airlines have announced that the Istanbul-based airline has ordered two Boeing 737-800s with Blended Winglets. Saga Airlines has also secured two purchase rights for the same model. This order is valued at $149 million at current list prices.

Parker Aerospace =- Fuel and hydraulic system for Bombardier CSeries

Parker Hannifin has announced that its Parker Aerospace segment has been chosen by Bombardier Aerospace to design and produce the fully integrated hydraulic and fuel systems for its new CSeries family of aircraft. The company estimates that the contracts will generate approximately $1.2 billion in revenues over the life of the program.

Boeing and Biman Bangladesh Airlines - Boeing NG 737 order

Boeing and Biman Bangladesh Airlines have announced an order for two Boeing Next-Generation 737-800s, with purchase rights for two additional 737s. The signing ceremony, held at the U.S. Department of Commerce, was attended by dignitaries from Bangladesh and the United States and also celebrated Biman's selection of an all-Boeing jet fleet for its future operations.

Gulfstream Signs $1.9 Billion Agreement with NetJets

Boeing - First 767-300BCF dellivered

Boeing, Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (ST Aerospace) and ANA (All Nippon Airways) celebrated the completion and certification of the first 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter at a redelivery ceremony held in Singapore today. Boeing launched the 767-300BCF passenger-to-freighter conversion program in 2005 with three firm orders and four options from ANA. Since then, ANA has exercised all the options and now has ordered seven passenger-to-freighter conversions in all.
