Iscon has signed a distribution deal for the sale of its scanning systems including the GameChangeIR and 1000D whole body scanner in the Chinese market
A major Chinese distributor to the People’s Republic of China security agencies has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Iscon to provide sales and support for its patented Thermal Boosted Infrared Detection Systems. Beijing Ritchie Link Technology will provide sales and support for Iscon’s newly introduced screening equipment to government, aviation and corporations in China. They have already purchased the portable version, the GameChangeIR, and will deploy the first system at a security-sensitive facility. The GameChangeIR only shows objects and clothing without any harmful radiation. It will reveal the thermal imprint of any material -- plastic, paper, wood, ceramics, powder as well as metal. Its infrared rays don’t scan under clothing, which eliminates privacy issues. However, it is more effective than an X-Ray machine detecting objects hidden in “sensitive” hiding places. “This agreement gives us a firm foothold with a highly reputable partner in the People’s Republic of China to deploy our next generation scanning solutions,” explains Izrail Gorian. “We believe that the international market is seeking an alternative to invasive, radiation emitting scanner technologies being deployed today since it is even more focused on the privacy issues than the US” The GameChangeIR can be packed up in a suitcase and deployed at different locations to add an important random element to an organization’s security strategy, while keeping its costs low. The GameChangeIR consists of an imaging display terminal as well as the specially designed infrared scanner and platform for people to be checked. The system’s power requirements can easily be adapted using converters or necessary transformers. The patented, proprietary Iscon system is also available in a larger whole body scanner portal, Iscon 1000D, for use in commercial security areas. A complete scan and detection takes 30 seconds so people can quickly move through security areas.
