Luciad, has been selected by Thales to provide the software components for the naval battlespace visualization within the SIC21 technology platform, delivering maximum situational awareness at sea. SIC21 (Système d’ Information et de Commandement du 21ème siècle pour la Marine française) is a command information system built for the French Navy. SIC21 will provide the Navy with a common 21st century technical platform connecting all of its legacy and future systems, linking to Air, Land and Joint systems for increased interoperability, also in coalition operations. |

Luciad, a software provider for high performance visualization of geospatial information, has been selected by the Thales and EADS Consortium to provide the software components for visualizing the common operational picture within OE SIC Terre, the overall operation to harmonize legacy and future Army Computerized Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C4I) programs. The resulting common shared information and communication platform will enable the French army to operate on the digitized battle space. |

Luciad, the leading software provider for high performance visualization of geospatial information, announces that it has been contracted by the NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) to deliver the software components for the visualization capability in its interim Joint Common Operational Picture (JCOP). Via the LuciadMap-based viewers in JCOP, NATO Headquarters and Component Commands staff can accurately visualize the Joint Common Operational Picture, substantially enhancing their situational awareness and accelerating the decision-making process. |
