DRS - Contract for Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System Subassemblies

DRS Technologies, Inc. has announced that it has received an initial order of $36.4 million on a five-year contract with a projected minimum value of approximately $101 million to produce critical subassemblies for the Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3) program. The contract was awarded to DRS by the Network Centric Systems business of the Raytheon Company , McKinney, Texas, the prime contractor and final integrator for the LRAS3 program.

DRS Technologies, Inc. has announced that it was awarded contracts totaling $20.4 million from the U.S. Army's Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command Life Cycle Management Command (TACOM LCMC) in Rock Island, Illinois, to support programs at the Army's office of Program Manager for Heavy Brigade Combat Team (PM HBCT) in Warren, Michigan.

DRS contract for Minuteman Environment Control Systems

DRS Technologies, Inc. has announced today that it received a $23 million order from Northrop Grumman Corporation's Space and Mission Systems business in Clearfield, Utah, to provide replacement environment control systems (ECS) for electronic equipment and personnel of the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) launch and missile alert facilities.

DRS - Contract to Deliver Border Security System to Jordan

DRS Technologies, Inc. has announced that it received an order from the U.S. Army's Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM), Fort Monmouth, N.J., for the initial phase of the Jordan Border Security Program. In conjunction with the U.S. Army, DRS will provide the Jordan Armed Forces with an end-to-end border security system for a section of Jordan's border.

Apache helicopter Arrowhead(R) system contract

DRS Technologies was awarded two contracts by the Missiles and Fire Control segment of Lockheed Martin Corporation to produce key components for the Apache helicopter Arrowhead(R) system. The two awards, for $31.4 and $28.5 million, push the total DRS awards to date for the Arrowhead program to more than $240 million.

DRS Techologies - The JV-5 vehicle computing system

DRS Technologies, has announced that it received a contract, not-to-exceed (NTE) $98.3 million to provide JV-5 ultra-rugged vehicle computing and display systems for the Force XXI Battle Command, Brigade and Below (FBCB2) and Blue Force Tracking (BFT) programs to support U.S. Army and Marine Corps (USMC) situational awareness requirements. The company received the contract from the Army's Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM), Life Cycle Management Command at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.

DRS Technologies - $10m Contracts For Man-Portable Radars

DRS Technologies, has announced that it was awarded contracts from various customers with a combined value of approximately $10 million to provide Man-Portable Surveillance and Target Acquisition Radars (MSTAR) systems. DRS also will provide the accompanying accessory equipment for the radar systems. The systems will support the U. S. Department of Defense (DoD) in a variety of surveillance and security applications.

DRS Technologies, has announced that it has received a $46 million order to repair more than 200 U.S. Army M1000 Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) trailers. The order is part of a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) reset contract that was awarded to DRS in October 2004 by the U.S. Army's Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) in Warren, Michigan.

DRS Technologies - $6.3m Contract To Develop New IP Receiver

DRS Technologies, has announced that it has been awarded a $6.3 million contract to develop and demonstrate a new near-mid wavelength infrared active detection receiver system. The system will be based on the company's unique Mercury Cadmium Telluride (HgCdTe) electron avalanche photodiode (e-APD) focal plane array (FPA) technology. The receiver will be an ultra-sensitive infrared detection system designed for use with a laser illumination source for detecting land-based threats.

DRS Technologies,has announced that it has been awarded a new multi-year contract valued at approximately $145 million, including options, to produce Driver Vision Enhancer (DVE) A-Kits for installation on a wide range of frontline U.S. Army tactical wheeled and combat vehicles. Increasing drivers' vision capability, survivability and mobility in hazardous, low-visibility conditions during the day or night, the DVE systems are supporting U.S. Army and Marine Corps units engaged in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
