The USA DoD operational trials are underway in Iraq on new technologies that include a system developed by Med-Eng Inc. (Med-Eng), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allen-Vanguard (Allen-Vanguard), to measure and understand Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) resulting from a soldier's exposure to high-impact events such as an improvised explosive device (IED). The DoD contract award was for several thousand systems at a value of approximately US$3.3M. |
