Aerojet has again earned The Boeing Company's 'Supplier of the Year' award for its commitment to superior performance and customer satisfaction. Aerojet, who also won a Boeing Supplier of the Year award in 2005, was one of 11 companies honored last night for its 2007 performance. |

Aerojet and Orbital Sciences has announced that together the two companies successfully conducted a static firing of the jettison motor, a key component of the Launch Abort System (LAS) for NASA's Orion next generation human spaceflight program. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor for the Orion project, which is part of NASA's Constellation Program to send human explorers back to the moon and then onward to Mars and other destinations in the solar system. |
